II have the chance to keep developing my skills!
I have the chance to keep developing my skills. I work not only with a standard turning machine but also with other standard metal processing machines such as cylindrical grinders, surface grinders, and milling machines. I live in a beautiful house. My housemate works for another client of Yver. We are doing very well. The workplace is nearby, and when I arrived here a bike was already waiting for me. A cleaner cleans our house every week. We have wireless internet, a spacious kitchen, and a living-room.
I am happy that I have chosen Yver as my employer!
When I arrived in the Netherlands, I was met by Yver employees.
They helped me to settle in my new home and introduced me to the environment. We also took care of issues such as the provision of banking services and the receipt of a citizen’s service number (BSN). A couple of days later, I was already working with the horizontal milling machine independently. Since the work is to a great extent similar to the work I did at my previous employer, I can use the knowledge and experience that I possess. I work with different products every day.
I am never bored and I also have to think a lot during the work.
Yver ensured that my workplace was located in the vicinity of my home, which is a beautiful, tidy, new house.
It therefore takes me only a couple of minutes to arrive at work—a job that is exciting and requires a lot of overtime. I, like the other residents of the house, have my own bedroom; we do not lack privacy. We also have a beautiful and spacious kitchen and often have our meals together. The house is provided with wireless internet and a TV set. A cleaner cleans the house on a weekly basis.
So if I want to contact my friends and relatives in my home country, I can do that easily.
